> Pelmet, drapes in gold brocade by Prelle, passementerie by Declercq
Fully restored thanks to the World Monuments Fund, the Grand Foyer of the Opéra-Comique in Paris has recovered all the majesty of one of the city's finest nineteenth-century buildings. Salle Favart, as the building is known, now greets audiences with its original decoration, the work of architect Louis Bernier. OUR ATELIERS SELECTED BY FRANCE'S MINISTRY OF CULTURE Selected by the Ministry of Culture following a call for tender, Ateliers Charles Jouffre sourced exceptional fabrics and passementerie for this landmark building. A silk fringe with pendant embellishments by Declercq magnificently complements silk brocade with gold threads that was woven in Lyons by the internationally renowned Maison Prelle. The pieces were sewn in our workshops, then sent to Paris where they were fitted by our highly skilled upholsterers. One hundred and fifteen years after its inauguration in 1898, the famous Parisian theatre is restored to its original splendour. All ready to raise the curtain!
An 8.70-metre motorised trimaran, Ressource Boat came about through the desire for an atypical boat for recreational sailing, and a vision for a high-performance, stable and ethically elegant monohull. The project took shape in the hands of interior designer Oliver Gossart and naval architect Gildas Plessis, who pushed the boundaries of luxury pleasure sailing. Ressource Boat cuts seamlessly through the water. Technical qualities are such that fuel consumption is two and a half times less than for a conventional monohull of the same size. WELL-KNOWN PARTNERS A who's who of renowned French companies helped bring this trimaran to life. Their challenge has been to achieve a level of technical and aesthetic quality worthy of the finest French luxury firms. Ateliers Charles Jouffre was given the honour of making all the interior and deck cushions for this fabulous new vessel.
